TMom© | A Tagesmutter Model

TMom© will help in implementing and enhancing the Tagesmutter professional profile and – starting from a learning and exchange process on its basic standards and adding and updating the recognition the relevance to the civil society and community cohesion through better quality child care impacting on future generations – improving employability prospects and equal opportunities for women and also contributing to the development of new community welfare models in Europe (whilst recognizing that the role of Tagesmutter means an alternative to formal education).
The added value for the actors involved in the project will be a more structured peer approach offering the ability to assess and accredit their existing skills, knowledge and understanding gained from “on the job” development (where it exists) thus meeting the needs of the target group flexibly for those with no experience, no formal learning and without the possibility of accreditation of prior learning; some informal experience & skill; a high level of skill and experience.
